Tycoon of the Century
Welcome to The Transport Tycoon Depository. This site is here to provide helpful tips for playing Transport Tycoon (Deluxe). With a great emphasis on rail design, this site will help you turn your small, simple company into a huge, complex, efficient empire. Remember, speed is the key.

News and Updates:

18th October 2003
Well, it's a few months late, but the new combined Owen's Transport Tycoon Station has launched! The Depository will remain open for a while yet, as not all of the content has been migrated to the new site yet.

7th May 2003
I have updated the downloads to use the owenrudge.net Download System. This is part of the step to the integration of The Transport Tycoon Depository and Owen's Transport Tycoon Station. In a few weeks, once I've finished my exams, the new site should launch.

18th November 2002
The Transport Tycoon Depository will soon become part of Owen's Transport Tycoon Station, which will be receiving a new design as well as new content. Check back in the coming weeks for more information. Please e-mail Owen Rudge now, not Adam Trevorrow, if you have any questions or comments.

I know I haven't done much here lately, or so it seems. I've got a "To Do" list a mile long. Anyway, the reason for this update is to show off my new design for this site, which I'm currently transferring all the content across too. You can preview it here. Most of the links don't work because it's still being made. I'm interested to hear what you think of it.

19th July 2002
I've gotten sick of Tripod's damn ads, and discovered that my ISP had already given me somewhere to put my site, so now here we are on iPrimus. The new URL is http://home.iprimus.com.au/adamtre. There may be some broken links, etc. around. Please tell me if you see any.
Lots of changes to the site, but mostly behind the scenes stuff. iPrimus doesn't give me a CGI bin, so I have to use some crappy remotely hosted script for all the feedback forms. If you know of any better one, tell me.

15th July 2002
Huge update. The road section has been replaced with Miscellaneous Tips. In the rail section, I've added the double entrance station, as well as many small updates and corrections, including the addition of a picture of a complex round-a-bout with 2 tracks going each direction. The Downloads and Links sections have been updated, with 2 new games and several new links added.
Outside this site, TTD Patch has moved to http://www.ttdpatch.com and a new Transport Tycoon IRC channel has been created (see Links).

1st May 2002
What's this? An update? Well I'll be! I've been thinking and I came up with a new and possibly better 4-way junction, the Complex Round-A-Bout, basically a round-a-bout with three tracks spiraling outwards.
Also, I've updated the Pre signals section for TTD Patch 1.8 beta, giving a detailed description of the new pre-signals system.
In other news, TTD toolmaker Owen Rudge has decided that the TT Station, Game Repository and Saved Game Manager is not enough TTD for him and has "adopted" and started work on a new version of TTD Alter - Keep an eye on The TT Newsgroup for details.

8th April 2002
Don't be too surprised if you don't see this site updated for a few months. There's not much new to put. I really can't be bothered updating the Downloads when it's all at Owen's Repository anyway (Newer versions of some of my games here as well as my more recent creations are there). Don't get me wrong, I'm not abandoning this, I'll still be getting any emails you send me.
A new version of TTD Patch is out in beta that can run in Windows 2000 and XP. You can also bribe the LA and do more with pre-signals. For more info try The TTD Patch site or The TT Newsgroup.
