Unofficial CP/M Web site/GEM World

The Unofficial CP/M Web site is a Caldera-authorised site for all of Digital Research's old software, including GEM applications. The original site was taken offline some time ago, but it was mirrored here. The then-official site was taken down a while ago, so click here to visit Gene Buckle's mirror.

Deltasoft/Ben A. L. Jemmett's GEM Web Site

Deltasoft is the GEM development centre. It contains updates, news and downloads about GEM and FreeGEM development. You can reach it at www.deltasoft.com. You can find Ben's other site (Jemmett Glover Software Development) here.

John Elliott's GEM pages

John Elliott has a collection of pages on older computers and operating systems, including a section on GEM and ViewMAX.  Check it out here. Alternatively, you can reach John's home page here.

Dylan Harris's GEM pages

Dylan Harris has some GEM downloads and documentation at his site, http://www.dylanharris.org/prose/gem/intro.html, including a set of routines to simplify GEM programming and a kit by Digital Research to help port GEM to other architecures.

Digital Research's GEM

This page has some information on GEM and its history, as well as some application descriptions and downloads.  It can be found at http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/6148/gem.html.

The Mouse Nest

Eathan Clark's home page is at http://myweb.cableone.net/eathan/. It contains some FreeGEM code, including the FreeGEM VDI and GEM/XM. 

Heinz Rath's GEM software

Heinz has a working version of ViewMAX/3, a VESA-compatible 800x600x16 screen driver, a simple web browser for FreeGEM, Sound Blaster drivers for GEM, GDScript, and a version of FreeDOS customised to integrate with FreeGEM.  His site is at http://www.geocities.com/heinz_rath/.

Shane Land GEM

Shane Coughlan has created his own distribution of GEM, OpenGEM. Shane's site also features documentation for GEM, plus an FAQ. Check it out at gem.shaneland.co.uk.
